- Welcome to the Norwell Sociables -
The Norwell Sociables is a non-profit organization which was established in September of 1997 by Katherine Tedeschi. The purpose of the club is to welcome new residents and help them become acquainted with their new hometown and its residents. Opportunities to socialize are created and organized for both newcomers and long-time residents alike. The Sociables is where "New friends meet and become old friends together". Think of the Sociables as the social "glue" that helps to keep us together, and the open arms that welcome new neighbors.
The growth of the Norwell Sociables to 150 families is testimony to the need for such an organization, and a credit to all those that have worked behind the scenes to nurture it. Although the Sociables has grown in size and scope, at its heart it still remains faithful to its roots and founding principles.
